Supporting Veterans by Protecting the Pets Who Protect Them
Waves of Hope Foundation is a Flagler County nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans care for the animals who provide them comfort, stability, and unconditional support.
For many veterans, a dog or cat is more than a companion — they are emotional support, daily purpose, and a steady presence during life’s most challenging transitions. But when financial hardship strikes, veterinary bills, medications, and emergency care can become overwhelming.
No veteran should ever have to choose between their own well-being and the pet who keeps them grounded.
That’s where Waves of Hope Foundation steps in.
Our Mission
To provide essential pet care assistance for veterans and individuals in need, ensuring both people and their pets can thrive — together.

Every dollar donated directly supports pet care services that preserve companionship, emotional stability, and healing for those who have served our country.

Studies continue to show that companion animals can reduce stress, ease symptoms of PTSD, combat isolation, and improve overall mental health. For veterans transitioning to civilian life, a pet can be a lifeline.
