Many of you may know Tony—maybe you've seen him on a job site, shared a round of golf, or called on him during a plumbing emergency. But what you may not know is the journey that brought him here to Palm Coast. His story isn’t just about pipes and fittings—it’s about grit, growth, and the bold decision to break away from the expected. It’s about walking away from a path laid out by circumstance and instead carving a new one toward purpose and passion.
This is the story of how Tony found his way—not just to a career he loves, but to a life he's built from the ground up, his story begins here.
Tony’s story starts in Ft. Pierce, Florida—a true Sunshine State native born into a hardworking, large family with four other siblings. Life wasn’t always easy growing up. Like many young men with a desire to find their way with big dreams and few resources, Tony found himself craving more than what his hometown could offer. After making a choice to step away from the traditional path, he made a promise to himself: He would find his own way forward.
Leaving Ft. Pierce and the familiar Tony was determined to break away from the cycle he saw around him, Tony took a job in a Daytona warehouse with his brother, a professional paintball player. The warehouse stored gear and equipment for paintball tournaments, and for a while, the paintball world became Tony’s world too. It gave him discipline, adrenaline, fun and an unexpected connection—one that would change his course and offer something meaningful.
Through that world of paintball, he met a new friend who was just getting started in plumbing. They clicked instantly, talking about goals and dreams. Soon enough, Tony moved in with him, and the two began working side by side in the trade. It was honest, skilled work—and it lit a spark in Tony. Plumbing gave him something he never had before: purpose.
Remembering his promise to himself brought him to Palm Coast with his new friend, where he committed to following through and earned his GED—his first major milestone on the road to something better. He was still young, with everything to prove and no idea how the future would unfold. But what he did have was drive.
Through time, grit and hard work Tony would earn all his certifications and years later, that decision to dive into the plumbing trade would become the foundation for ASAP Plumbing, the successful plumbing company Tony owns and operates today with his wife Christal.
How Tony Met Christal: A Love Story with a Plumbing Twist
Back in 2005, Tony was laser-focused on building his plumbing business—knee-deep in pipes, phone calls, and the daily grind of getting things flowing smoothly across Palm Coast and Flagler County. Romance? Not exactly on his to-do list.
Meanwhile, Christal had just returned from a months-long visit from her home state of Michigan and was back at work as a preschool teacher at a childcare center run by a family friend. Everything was business as usual—until a toddler bathroom emergency sent her into full panic mode.
Desperately needing a plumber, she made a call. That same family friend sent Tony to the rescue. He showed up with a wrench, ready to fix the problem... and walked right into something he didn’t see coming: love.
It wasn’t supposed to be a life-changing moment—just another service call. But there it was, in the middle of a toddler-sized toilet crisis, something clicked. They’ve been together ever since. And this December, they’ll celebrate 20 years of laughs, love, family, and a whole lot of plumbing jobs.
Let’s just say... it was love at first leak.
Together, they’re raising two energetic young sons here in Palm Coast, where life moves a little slower and the community feels a lot more like family. As a family, they enjoy visiting the local parks, grabbing ice cream at The Waffle Cone, or sitting down for dinners at The Turtle Shack and Mezzaluna pizza. When time allows—between work and raising two boys—Tony makes a little 'me' time on occassion to sneak in a few rounds on the local golf courses.
Golf, in fact, holds a special place in Tony’s heart. He first picked up the game as a kid, playing summer rounds with his neighborhood friends. Later in life, it was a fellow plumber, Steve Chokreviski of Mr. Pipes in Ormond Beach, who helped him rediscover the sport about a decade ago. Steve has since passed away from lung cancer, but those rounds and memories left a lasting impact. These days, Tony finds that golf offers a quiet moment away from the chaos of construction sites and a chance to teach his sons focus and discipline. It’s become more than a hobby—it’s part of their family rhythm.
As the owner of ASAP Pro Services, Tony pours the same passion and care into his plumbing business that he brings to his family life. His approach is simple:
“If I wouldn’t send someone to my own grandmother’s house, I’m not sending them to a customer’s home or business.”
That standard is why every hire goes through a rigorous screening process and a week-long paid working interview. It’s also why so many of their clients come through word of mouth and repeat business.
He’s proud of what his team stands for. At Asap Pro Services Plumbing and Drain Cleaning, plumbing isn’t just a job—it’s a trade built on precision, pride, and helping others.
“There’s something truly rewarding,” Tony says, “about knowing we played a part in building someone’s home or getting a local business back on its feet in the middle of the night. It’s work that matters. You see it. You feel it.”
And behind the scenes, holding it all together, is Christal. She wears every hat imaginable—admin, HR, dispatcher, marketer, bookkeeper, and of course, mom to two young boys. Together, they’re not just building a business—they’re building a legacy rooted in family, community, and a genuine love for what they do.
Both Tony and Christal agree, "Palm Coast is home and the community has welcomed us by using a family owned and operated plumbing company, and we believe giving back is just as important." Chrystal tells Palm Coast Local and their line up is impressive.
Giving Back Where It Matters Most
"One of the most meaningful parts of owning our own business is having the ability with the responsibility—to give back to the community that helped build us." Christal shared. "Over the years, we've proudly supported local little league teams, sponsored school dances, and honored hard-working educators during teacher appreciation days. We’ve shown up for our neighbors not just as plumbers, but as people who care."
They've helped raise funds through charity golf tournaments, surprised families with gift baskets and gift cards, and even tried to bring comfort in moments of crisis—like gifting meals from Texas Roadhouse to the family of a young man who was severely injured during lifeguard training, so they could focus on him instead of dinner plans. They have given of their time and donations to Parkinsons of Flagler Palm Coast, a Support Group for patients and their caregivers, Christmas Come True, led by Nadine King and Flagler Humane Society.
Two projects especially close to their hearts were remodeling bathrooms for the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and a local group home, both done in partnership with Hulbert Homes. These weren’t just construction projects—they were acts of service, driven by a desire to create dignity, comfort, and care through the work they know best.
From the Ground Up
From a GED in Palm Coast to building a business built on trust and excellence, Tony’s story is one of quiet determination, a little humor, and a whole lot of heart. Together with Christal, and with two boys in tow, they’ve built something bigger than just a plumbing company. They’ve built a life—deeply grounded in family, in community, and in showing up for others when it matters most.
It’s not always glamorous. It’s not always easy. But every day brings a new opportunity to solve problems, help neighbors, and model to their kids what hard work and heart can really do.
And to think, it all started with a bold step, paintballs and a toddler toilet emergency.
